As a part of the Lenexa 100 Celebration, citizens were invited to record some highlights of their family's Lenexa History. This project is ongoing. Enjoy some brief samples of these interviews. Although the City of Lenexa is relatively young in terms of a city, the settlement existed long before incorporation. You will hear stories about the Civil War, one room school houses, talented animals, war stories, pioneers, farmers and much more.
